About the Circe College Essay Director

Billy Lombardo has taught English literature and creative writing at the Latin School of Chicago, Roosevelt University, Illinois Benedictine, UCLA Extension, and Global Online Academy. Billy has coached hundreds of students through their college essays across and beyond the U.S. The author of The Logic of a Rose: Chicago Stories, The Man with Two Arms, and Meanwhile, Roxy Mourns, his novel, How to Hold a Woman was recently re-released and re-titled Morning Will Come. Billy is the founder of Writing Pros/e, a writing, editing, and writing coaching business, and the founder of Polyphony Lit, a student-run, international literary magazine for high school writers and editors. He lives in Chicago’s Albany Park neighborhood.
